The abbey church of Saint Gilles is located on the Camino de Santiago, built in the twelfth century, its façade, like the rest of the monument, has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.
In 1902, architect Stanford White rebuilt St. Bartholomew's in New York Church using this façade. it is located on Madison Avenue and East 44th Street.
