I ONLY PAINT FOR MY PLEASURE
My paintings are the memory of my dreams , and do not race for exhibitions, whether collective or personal.
I will only mention the exhibition in the Saint-Étienne de Bourges cathedral in 2016, that of the European heritage days for the path to Liberty in 2018 and that in the Abbey Church of Saint-Gilles in 2020.
MY PAINTING TECHNIQUES
Exclusively knives and extra-fine oils, I almost only work on extra-fine linen canvas.
I approach painting either through series (Paths) or through themes (landscapes). Every statement has its exceptions and contradictions, there are some oils on paper and various subjects (flowers for example).
The formats used are always rectangles (in standard or golden ratio formats), but never square formats, I like the eye to be able to wander around the canvas.
BIOGRAPHY, BOOKS FOR MY PATHS
For the Paths of Light and Path of Freedom , I published small books for which friends (writers, poets, photographers, priests) were kind enough to participate. Their poems or texts are linked to the paintings in this presentation. Let them be thanked, because through their talent and their erudition they give an emotional and cultural contribution to these paintings.
