Yellow in nature is not that of gold, but the imprint and triumph of the sun. Warm color of heat, of the light of the star. The serenity of the slow waters gives birth to the reed beds, almost sculpted with a knife, and taken up in reflections. The sky is very secondary. Horizontality widens the field of vision: the Rhône slides, passes, towards the sea which will absorb it. Nothing flashy here, no jewels. Only the sun in glory.
