Everything blazes with the setting red, the sky, the clouds, the banks, the flora of the embankments, the shrubs. But the double body of water imposes its soft luminosity, these light purples, with more intense tones in the distance. The studies of L'Foulard d'ris find their completion: plenitude, mastery, now affirmed. As if the major tones of red – passion, strength, combat – conveyed a victory, the accomplishment of the challenge: mastering a color.
