Inspired by the remains of the rood screen of the Cathedral of Saint Étienne de Bourges, these fragments of stones of about 1 x 1 meter serve as a model for the 14 paintings. I reproduced the design of the stones identically and imagined the coloring since it has disappeared. The title of this way was Way of Life became Way of the Cross. For this transcription the title of Way of Light was chosen since the stations of the 12th century are not identical to the Stations of the Cross today.
After the Cathedral of Saint Étienne in Bourges in 2016, the 14 paintings of the Way of Light were exhibited during the summer of 2020 in the heart of the Abbey Church of St Gilles
