Pat h of Freedom

The Path to Freedom is a tribute to the Twin Towers and a reminder of the ties between New York and France. This suite of 30 tableaux is composed like an opera with:

In the introduction: Six canvases for the arrival of the migrants, the construction of the Twins, the crossing of the bay, the disembarkation at Park Battery and a few steps towards the Brooklyn Bridge.

Act I: the bridge over the East River crossed, we walk on its east bank. Each of the 10 paintings has the river in the foreground and the silhouettes of the Twins in the background.

Act II: Another crossing of the East and a walk through Manhattan. This deed contains 8 canvases.

Final: It is composed of symbols with the sun in a cross between the Twins, a last panoramic view, the destruction, the boats signifying that not everything has been destroyed, the memory with the shadow of Twin and Freedom to symbolize the continuation of Freedom.
